What Deletes occupancy records that are older than the retention period, immediately, instead of waiting for the daily run. For every account the retention period is taken from its account options; where none is set, the server-wide default applies. An account whose retention period is zero or below is skipped — that setting means "keep indefinitely".
Deletion happens in batches so that a large backlog cannot lock the table for a long time.
If the backlog exceeds what one run may delete, the response reports moreRemaining for that
account and the next run continues where this one stopped.
The call is safe to repeat: once everything older than the cutoff is gone, further runs delete nothing. It is intended for verifying a retention setting and for cleaning up after bulk imports; regular operation does not need it, the daily run covers that.
