Release Notes – Version 2.0

Shigoto Sensor

Bug Fixes

  • Startup error fixed: On the very first start of the sensor application (as well as after waking from sleep mode), a server error could occur. The application did not wait long enough for the configuration to load completely before establishing the first connection. This has been fixed.
  • Lock status is reported correctly: The room's occupied/locked status is now updated immediately when the PC is locked or unlocked — without having to wait for the next regular interval.
  • Correct device type in "Expected devices": The list of expected devices previously always showed "Monitor" as the device type, regardless of the actual type. This has been fixed.

New Features

  • "Expected devices" page: Administrators can now open an overview of all devices expected at a location and see which of them have been found and which are missing.
  • Unpair device: After unpairing a device, feedback is now shown indicating whether the operation succeeded or an error occurred.

Shigoto Admin Panel

New Features

  • Edit users: Administrators can now change a user's name, profile picture, and permission level directly in the admin panel.
  • Permission level in the user list: The user list now shows each user's permission level as readable text (e.g. "Account administrator").
  • Profile pictures from the database: Profile pictures are now loaded directly from the Shigoto database whenever an image is stored there. Gravatar continues to serve as a fallback.
