"Invalid token" error after some time: After an update, some users received an error toast
following the restart. The cause is a bearer token that expires after 30 days. All users who
initialized their sensor more than 30 days ago are affected. Since the token is no longer actually
needed, it has been removed from regular user's actions.
Action tile suddenly appears and sensor stops: When the token error occurs, a NOT AUTHORIZED
is reported, causing the sensor to discard its credentials and stop itself. This case is now
handled in a more differentiated way, and with the fix for the issue above, the problem should
no longer occur.
Sensor detected as a virus: The switch to a Microsoft certificate for signing the sensor is
finally available in Europe as well. Warning dialogs, blocked installations, and false positives
flagging the sensor as a virus should now be a thing of the past. In addition, the QA version can
now be signed as well.
Deleting users and accounts via report result: An error when deleting users and accounts via
the report result has been fixed. Deleting a user now immediately deactivates that user's Shigoto
sensor.
Network error debounced: The error toast indicating a network failure due to a lost server
connection is displayed only after 60 seconds, so as not to unsettle the user over brief
interruptions in communication.
Disable AutoUpdate: A customer's administrator can disable AutoUpdate for all of their sensors
in the admin panel if it causes problems or if they prefer to handle software distribution
themselves. Sensors then no longer check whether an update is available, no longer download
updates automatically, and no longer install them.
Newly installed sensors wait until the sensor has been activated successfully before deciding
whether AutoUpdate should take place, since this information is only reliably available from
that point on.
Strict version check and lock removed: The strict version check on the central server has been
removed because AutoUpdate can now be disabled for sensors. The central server will guarantee
backward compatibility as far as possible.
New download: macOS app: To allow customer administrators to meet special requirements when
rolling out the software, the Shigoto system now offers the option — on the download page and via
the API — to download the macOS app itself ("macOS app") without the PKG wrapper.
New download: Intune: The Windows setup is also offered in a special variant for Intune.
This version is created using the IntuneWinAppUtil.exe tool and can then be easily
embedded and managed in Intune's software deployment tasks.
Options for tenant and account: Administrators can now interactively set options for the tenant
(partner software) and accounts (their customers) in the admin panel. These functions are of course
also available via the API. All changed options always take effect "immediately" for all sensors
(with a delay of 5–15 seconds).
Disable AutoUpdate: Customers can disable AutoUpdate for their sensors.
Anonymity mode for the tenant: The partner software and its administrator can decide what level
of anonymity their system allows (full anonymity, central anonymous user, anonymity flag only,
no anonymity).
Anonymity mode for the account: Customer administrators can decide what level of anonymity
their users should have. This decision naturally depends on what the partner system supports.
In addition, the central anonymous user can now be designated in the admin panel (if the partner
system supports a central anonymous user).
Allowed device types: The partner can define which types of devices the sensor should offer
for detection. Customer administrators can further restrict this selection if needed.
